We have an exciting opportunity for dynamic and innovative individuals who are keen to make a difference to people’s lives to join a prestigious service – their brand new service in Willenhall for people with mental health needs.
The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary of £21, 715 - £33, 330 per annum dependants on experience.
Our Staff Nurse role involves:
• Providing leadership and support for support staff and act as a champion for residents’ safety and dignity
• Maintaining skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available
• Ensuring the ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes
• Ensuring that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used
• Acting as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice
• Taking charge of the unit regularly and, in the absence of the management team, accepting responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the unit
• Helping to maintain the security of the building and its environment
Qualifications/Experience
To be successful as a Staff Nurse, you’ll need:
• Good organisational skills
• Good supervisory skills
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to contribute to, monitor and implement changes that improve service delivery and outcomes for residents
• The ability to plan, allocate and delegate work appropriately
• To be able to understand Recovery Action Plans
• Experience of working with service users with various mental health needs
• A working knowledge of the Mental Health Act
• A working knowledge of Recovery and Recovery Star
Qualifications
• NMC Registered Nurse (RMN)
• Evidence of personal and professional development
